Mike Young has been an active member of the environmental community since he was an undergraduate student at Pepperdine University. During his time there, he served as the Environmental Programs Coordinator where he worked to increase the university’s recycling programs and educated students on environmental issues.
In 2005, Mike graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy with an Undergraduate Certificate in Dispute Resolution. He then began working for Heal the Bay’s Pier Outreach Program.
Today, Mike is a Political and Development Associate at the California League of Conservation Voters and an author on CLCV’s blog.
