Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses Fre’Drisha Dixon for Inglewood Mayor
LOS ANGELES COUNTY (October 22, 2022)– The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – which has supported pro-environment local candidates throughout Los Angeles County for more than four decades – is proud to announce its endorsement of Fre’Drisha Dixon for Inglewood Mayor.
“Thank you LALCV for this very meaningful endorsement. I appreciate your confidence in my ability and capability to serve the community of Inglewood righteously,” said Dixon. “I am looking forward to working with you to not only make sure that Inglewood residents live in an environmentally friendly environment but also educating our community on environmental issues that impact us all. We have so much work to do and that’s exactly what I’m here for!”
Dixon plans on focusing on clean air and water for local Inglewood residents and making environmental education part of the curriculum for school-aged children. She plans to use her history as a community organizer and activist to form local environmental coalitions that can raise the profiles of these issues and help find solutions.
