Aaron Ordower

Aaron Ordower is Environmental Deputy for Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath and is responsible for policy initiatives and project implementation involving biodiversity, climate change adaptation, energy, environmental justice, waste, and water.

Throughout his career, Aaron has worked on environmental sustainability, urban infrastructure, and economic development at organizations including the Los Angeles City Council, New York City Mayor’s Office, the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and the World Bank.

Aaron worked on the campaigns of Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden and has volunteered on dozens of local, state, and national political campaigns.  He currently serves as Assembly District 55’s Vice Chair to the Los Angeles County Democratic Party.

Aaron was raised in Los Angeles and currently resides in the West Adams neighborhood.  He loves exploring LA County’s beautiful natural environments, especially hiking in the Baldwin Hills and lounging on our beautiful beaches.
