Yvette Lopez-Ledesma
Yvette Lopez-Ledesma is the Urban to Wild Director at The Wilderness Society. She works on developing partnerships, programs and policies to ensure equitable access to urban parks and open space in Los Angeles, Seattle, and Albuquerque. Mrs. Lopez-Ledesma also serves as a Lecturer in the Urban Studies and Planning Department at California State University Northridge. From February 2013-February 2018 Yvette served as Deputy Director of Pacoima Beautiful.
She earned her BA in Urban Studies and Planning at CSUN and also earned her Master of Public Administration & Urban Planning at CSUN. Yvette currently serves as Chair of the San Fernando Valley Metro (MTA) Service Council, and a member of the City of Los Angeles North Valley Area Planning Commission. Mrs. Lopez-Ledesma has over 16 years of work and volunteer experience pursuing her interests in social justice, sustainability, and community engagement.
Yvette left the board in June 2020.
