LALCV Endorses Monica Rodriguez for Re-Election to Los Angeles City Council, District 7

LOS ANGELES COUNTY (March 12, 2026) — The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV), which supports pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County, endorses Monica Rodriguez for re-election to Los Angeles City Council, District 7.

Councilmember Monica Rodriguez has demonstrated a commitment to addressing environmental challenges in Northeast San Fernando Valley communities, including investments in urban greening, climate resilience, and infrastructure improvements.

“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters. Protecting our environment while improving quality of life in our communities has been central to my work, from expanding zero-emission transit to advancing water conservation, green space, and climate resilience projects. I look forward to continuing this work to build a more sustainable and climate-resilient future for the Northeast San Fernando Valley,” said Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez.

LALCV President Maro Kakoussian said: “Since 2013 when she served on the Board of Public Works and continuing on City Council Councilmember Rodriguez’s work to improve the quality of life in historically underserved neighborhoods and to support small business has made real progress towards realizing an equitable and healthy Los Angeles for all.”
