Patricia CastellanosLOS ANGELES COUNTY (September 20, 2020) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – supporting pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County – announced its endorsement of Patricia Castellanos for LAUSD District 7. LALCV’s endorsement joins a long list of progressive, labor and environmental support Castellanos has received.

LALCV is extremely pleased to support Patty in her race to be a progressive voice on the LA Unified School Board and the only parent with a child in an LAUSD school,” said Michael Kadish, president of LALCV.

Patty is not only a committed, lifelong activist and advocate for education and social justice issues in her community, but she has a long history of finding solutions to environmental issues throughout the County through her work with County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl and LAANE, and other organizations, added Kadish. “Respected by labor and environmental leaders throughout the County, we trust Patty to take her experience, commitment and integrity to the fight to improve our schools.”
