LOS ANGELES COUNTY (September 20, 2020) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – supporting pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County – announced its endorsement of John Heilman and John Erickson for the two opens seats on the West Hollywood City Council. Heilman, if elected, will be serving his final term on Council. Erickson is mounting his first election campaign for a seat.
“LALCV is extremely pleased to support both current Councilmember Heilman, as well as election newcomer John Erickson,” said Michael Kadish, president of LALCV. “John Heilman has a long list of environmental accomplishments in the City and we want to continue our support of his vision and his work on behalf of the residents of West Hollywood.”
“John Erickson is the future of environmental leadership in Los Angeles County. John’s commitment to sustainability has been seen through his advocacy of alternative forms of transportation, smart growth, transit-oriented policies, and city operations that reduce water and energy use. Together, we believe these two Councilmembers will fight for the environmental practices and policies West Hollywood needs in this changing climate and world,” added Kadish.
