LOS ANGELES COUNTY (October 3, 2024) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – supporting pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County –  announced its endorsement of incumbent Brian Calderón Tabatabai to represent West Covina City Council District 1.

Mr. Tabatabai has a clear vision for the future of West Covina. He has articulated a comprehensive plan to create a more environmentally-friendly and walkable city focused around increasing the use of public transit, expanding tree canopy, and incentivizing infill development.

“Mr. Tabatabai will continue his leadership to advance a more environmentally focused West Covina City Council. His plans to approve road diets and create a more walkable city will benefit Council District 1 and the city, as a whole,” said LALCV Board Member Adam Lane.

“I’m deeply honored to receive the endorsement of the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters for my re-election to the West Covina City Council. I remain committed to making our city more walkable, sustainable, and environmentally conscious. Together, we can create a West Covina that prioritizes green spaces, reduces traffic congestion, and fosters a healthier future for all our residents,” said Brian Tabatabai.
