Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses Miranda Sheffield, for Pomona City Council

LOS ANGELES COUNTY (October 8, 2024) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – supporting pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County –  announced its endorsement of Miranda Sheffield who is running for Pomona City Council 6th District.

 

The LALCV board of directors voted to endorse Miranda Sheffield in her campaign for Pomona City Council 6th District due to her strong background and focus on community organizing around environmental justice issues. She has a proven track record working on environmental issues across the county.

 

“Miranda’s platform focuses heavily on a just transition to the clean energy future. At LALCV, we share her focus on making sure the clean energy transition is an equitable one,” said Joshua Torres, LALCV Board Member and endorsement lead for Pomona.

 

“I am thrilled to receive the endorsement of the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters. Their commitment to preserving and protecting our environment reflects my vision for a green and healthy Pomona.
