Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses Pro-forma Endorsement for Councilwoman Illece Buckley Weber, for Agoura Hills City Council
(Los Angeles County) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – supporting pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County – announced its Pro-forma endorsement of Mayor Illece Buckley Weber representing Agoura Hills City Council.
“Illece Buckley Weber is dedicated to keeping to improving the health and safety of her community, by preserving the environment, fighting for clean air and reduced energy use, identifying ways to address the effects of Climate Change on her City and City residents.” Said LALCV Immediate Past-President Stephanie Molen. “We are honored to provide this earned Pro-forma endorsement.”
“It has been an honor serving the City of Agoura Hills. While my colleagues and I have achieved much, there is still more to do. When the Climate Action Plan is completed, I will work tirelessly toward its implementation. I hope to support the City toward the 100% tier in Clean Power Alliance and advocate for solar panels to be installed at City Hall and the Events and Recreation Center. I will work with residents on greenhouse gas reduction measures such as placing food waste in yard bins and eliminating plastic water bottles, supporting the water district’s Drink From the Sink campaign to name a few goals for this next term if I am re-elected to the City Council. I thank LALCV for your endorsement and support of my candidacy.”
