Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses Pro-forma Endorsement for Councilwoman Linda Northrup, for Agoura Hills City Council
(Los Angeles County) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – supporting pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County – announced its Pro-forma endorsement of Councilwoman Linda Northrup representing Agoura Hills City Council.
“Linda Northrup has a strong record of effective leadership for Agoura Hills as a commissioner, and though the positions she has held on the City Council,” said LALCV Immediate Past-President Stephanie Molen. “She is an extraordinary advocate for the pro-environment priorities vital to public health and quality of life in Agoura Hills – from reducing energy use and improving air quality, to protecting open space and promoting smarter water use. Her colleagues see her as a strong partner, alley, and leader on environmental issues.”
“The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters has as its mission the support of candidates who exhibit knowledge of, and commitment to, preserving and protecting the environment. These are the values that have guided me in all the decisions I have made, both on the Agoura Hills Planning Commission and now on the Agoura Hills City Council. I am so proud and honored to have earned the support of the LALCV, and will continue to protect clean air, clean water, and natural resources all around our exceptional city as my guiding principle. My deepest thanks to the LALCV for the trust placed in me.” Said Linda Northrup.
