The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV), that supports pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County, announced its endorsement of Kristine Kwong for the Pasadena Area Community College District (PACCD) Board of Trustees, Area 5 race in the November 3, 2026 election.
Trustee Kristine Kwong is a dedicated public servant seeking reelection, focusing on addressing climate change, reducing carbon emissions, and minimizing environmental impact at Pasadena City College. During her tenure as PACCD President, the Board of Trustees advanced a key resolution to decarbonize campus facilities and electrify the campus vehicle fleet by 2030. Kwong has championed project labor agreements to advance campus infrastructure sustainability. LALCV is proud to support Trustee Kwong’s continuing environmental leadership on the PACCD Board of Trustees.
“I am honored to be endorsed by the LALCV as Pasadena City College moves forwards in its environmental initiatives. Having started with a Resolution towards this commitment, it is critical that we partner with experts such as LALCV to bring our college into a future of sustainability,” said Kristine Kwong, candidate for re-election for the Pasadena Area Community College District Board of Trustees, Area 5.
