Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses L.A. County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas for

City of Los Angeles Council District 10

(Los Angeles County) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV), which has supported pro-environment local candidates throughout Los Angeles County for more than three decades, today announced its endorsement of Mark Ridley-Thomas in Los Angeles City Council District 10 in the upcoming March 3 election.

“Thank you to the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters for this meaningful endorsement. I have always been, and will remain, a staunch environmental advocate — supporting policies that protect our water purity, air quality and land, as well as innovating measures to fight climate change.  The 10th District can be an environmental model for Los Angeles, and Los Angeles, a model for the entire country, when we work together to keep green space, green energy and green jobs at the center of our policies and projects,” said Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas.

“Mark Ridley-Thomas has a long track record of serving the people of Los Angeles,” said LALCV Board President Michael Kadish. “We are encouraged by his experience as a policy maker and we have been proud to honor his work to protect our environment.
