LOS ANGELES COUNTY (October 10, 2026) — The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV), which supports pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County, announced its endorsement of Melissa Ramoso for Artesia City Council.
“LALCV is once again thrilled to endorse Melissa Ramoso, an environmental champion with a proven track record of delivering green, health-promoting solutions for the City of Artesia,” said Elsa Tung, LALCV’s endorsement team lead. “Melissa’s continued leadership on city council ensures Artesia’s regional leadership as a critical Gateway City.”
“I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) for my candidacy for the FOURTH time,” said Melissa Ramoso. “On the Artesia City Council, I have consistently fought for a healthier, more sustainable community—from executing local pollution reduction projects and adding green bike lanes to Norwalk Boulevard and 166th Street, to securing almost $5 million to transform vacant space into the future Artesia Botanical Gardens. This endorsement strengthens my commitment to regional climate solutions like the Southeast Gateway light rail, which will remove thousands of cars from our freeways and ensure a cleaner environment for Artesia families.”
