LOS ANGELES COUNTY (October 10, 2026) — The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV), which supports pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County, announced its endorsement of Chelsea Byers for West Hollywood City Council.
“Chelsea Byers is a proven environmental leader in West Hollywood, having led on the City’s Equitable Building Performance Standard, advanced measures to address extreme heat and indoor temperatures, advocated for more protective bike lanes, and pushed for the acceleration of the Metro K Line,” said Maro Kakoussian, President, LALCV. “Her tenacity, ambitious climate agenda, and dedication to a healthier, more sustainable West Hollywood make us proud to endorse her.”
“I’m so honored to have the support of the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters,” said Chelsea Byers. “LALCV and I share the belief that the climate crisis is one of the most urgent challenges of our time, and its impacts are already being felt right here in West Hollywood, especially after a summer of record-breaking heat. Having their support in my re-election campaign means so much to me.”
