LOS ANGELES COUNTY (October 10, 2026) — The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV), which supports pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County, announced its endorsement of Stephen Post for West Hollywood City Council.
“Stephen Post has been championing zero waste and compost programs since high school, carrying that commitment to the environment into his career in the nonprofit sector, where he has worked at the intersections of environmental justice, housing, and the built environment,” said Maro Kakoussian, President, LALCV. “He brings a strong background in environmental issues, experience as a commissioner, and a climate vision for West Hollywood that prioritizes safer streets, more green space, and community engagement. We are proud to endorse him for City Council.”
“West Hollywood can’t wait to lead on climate action,” said Stephen Post. “I’m grateful for LALCV’s endorsement as we fight for a greener, more resilient city where environmental progress means cleaner streets, better transit, and stronger more efficient infrastructure. Together we’ll invest in green infrastructure and stormwater capture, expand tree canopy and shade, and strengthen climate emergency preparedness.”
