The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV), which supports pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County, announced its endorsement of David Kartsonis for Torrance City Council District 1.
David Kartsonis has already demonstrated his environmental leadership as a planning commissioner and former parks commissioner, and LALCV looks forward to seeing him expand his leadership on the Torrance City Council. David’s deep knowledge and experience on sustainable city planning issues will serve the city well, as he prioritizes improving air quality, addressing heat islands, and ensuring responsible, sustainable development that increases infill housing as well as bikeability, walkability, and local jobs.
