The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV), that supports pro-environmental candidates throughout Los Angeles County, announces its endorsement of Noosha Razavian for Foothill Municipal Water District, Division Five
The Foothill Municipal Water District delivers imported water to retail water agencies in a twenty-two square mile region of the San Gabriel Mountain foothills, supplying more than half of water demands. Managing drinking water distribution to this population, including people impacted by the 2025 Eaton Canyon fire, demands innovative leadership.
“Noosha Razavian has strong experience implementing water conservation programming, drought resilience, and climate adaptation that will benefit the customers of Foothill MWD. She is an environmental economist and can foster productive dialogue on fair and affordable structures that meet the challenges to come in California’s water systems.
