The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) announced its endorsement of Randall Winston for Los Angeles Community College District Board of Trustees, Seat 6.
The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) Board of Trustees oversees the nation’s largest community college district, with nine colleges serving communities across Los Angeles County. From educating Angelenos about climate science, sustainability, and resilience to directing billions of dollars in campus investments and making consequential decisions about buildings, energy, water, and transportation, LACCD has a significant environmental footprint and substantial power to drive meaningful change.
“Randall Winston will bring an impressive track record of environmental and climate policy leadership to the LACCD Board of Trustees. He has shaped historic climate policy at both the state and city levels and is now training the next generation of climate and sustainability leaders. His vision for green building standards and environmental jobs is strongly aligned with our values, and we are proud to endorse him,” stated Maro Kakoussian, President, LALCV.
