The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) announced its endorsement of Steve Veres for Los Angeles Community College District Board of Trustees, Seat 2.
The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) Board of Trustees oversees the nation’s largest community college district, with nine colleges serving communities across Los Angeles County. From educating Angelenos about climate science, sustainability, and resilience to directing billions of dollars in campus investments and making consequential decisions about buildings, energy, water, and transportation, LACCD has a significant environmental footprint and substantial power to drive meaningful change.
