The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV), which supports pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County, announced its endorsement of Fre’Drisha Dixon for Mayor of Inglewood. For the past decade-plus, Inglewood has seen large-scale sports and entertainment development, which has had significant impacts on the residents and community, the vast majority of whom are people of color.
“Fre’Drisha Dixon brings strong community connections earned through her vibrant advocacy for Inglewood schools,” said Maro Kakoussian, President of LALCV. “As Mayor, she will focus on parks, air quality, traffic congestion, and fossil-fueled digital billboards, all while preserving affordability and quality of life for Inglewood’s residents.
