(Los Angeles County) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – which has supported pro-environment local candidates throughout Los Angeles County for more than three decades – today announced its endorsement of John Gran for Redondo Beach City Council, District 4 in the upcoming March 2nd election.

“I’m proud to earn the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters’ endorsement for my 2021 re-election campaign. It’s my responsibility to enact legislation and pursue projects that are good for our environment, support sustainability and address climate change. In my second term, the LALCV and I will continue our efforts to protect our environment and leave a better, cleaner world for future generations,” said John Gran.

Today, with the city needing to address air pollution, clean water, traffic, and land use issues, Gran will serve Redondo Beach by furthering the implementation of Redondo Beach’s Climate Action Plan.

“John Gran has been a strong environmental advocate in Redondo Beach during his first four years in City Council,” said LALCV Board Member Jim Kennedy, who was part of the organization’s Endorsement Team for this race. “When re-elected, John will continue to be a leader in the fight for open space, bicycle paths, and alternative transportation options.”
