(Los Angeles County) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – which has supported pro-environment local candidates throughout Los Angeles County for more than three decades – today announced its endorsement of Brad Waller for Redondo Beach City Council, District 1 in the upcoming March 2nd election.

“I am honored to be endorsed by the LALCV. As a beach city, we are already seeing the impacts of sea level rise, and I will lead Redondo Beach in setting the example of what cities can do for the environment. I will fight to increase the amount of solar generation and increase the trees and greenery planted in public parks and parkways,” said Brad Waller.

Today, with the city needing to address air pollution, clean water, traffic, and land use issues, Waller will serve Redondo Beach by furthering the implementation of Redondo Beach’s Climate Action Plan.

“Brad Waller has proven leadership on the Redondo Beach Unified School District Board of Education for the last eight years advocating for green investments,” said LALCV Board Member Jim Kennedy, who was part of the organization’s Endorsement Team for this race. “Brad will be an advocate for more safe streets for bicycles and pedestrians, planting more trees, and developing green infrastructure and usable open space.”
