LOS ANGELES COUNTY (April 2, 2026) — The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV), which supports pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County, endorses Tim McOsker to Los Angeles City Council, District 15.
Councilmember McOsker has shown a strong commitment to environmental and environmental justice leadership during his first term. Through his One Five plan, which reflects the needs of all five neighborhoods in his district, he has advanced a range of important wins, including shutting down Atlas Metals, supporting the closure of Phillips 66, addressing lead contamination in Jordan Downs, and advancing the Lomita Blvd. Punch Through project to reduce truck traffic through residential neighborhoods in Wilmington. “We are proud to endorse Councilmember McOsker re-election,” said Maro Kakoussian, President, LALCV. “From taking on major polluters and addressing lead contamination to advancing solutions that reduce truck traffic and support a just transition away from fossil fuels, he has shown a strong commitment to protecting community health and improving quality of life.”
“Protecting our environment and protecting our communities go hand in hand. From reducing pollution in our port-adjacent neighborhoods to investing in cleaner infrastructure and climate resilience, this work is about delivering real, lasting change for the people we serve,” said Councilmember Tim McOsker. “I’m grateful to have the support of the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters, whose commitment to strong environmental leadership and meaningful progress helps move this work forward.”
