Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses Tunua Thrash-Ntuk for Long Beach City Council

LOS ANGELES COUNTY (February 15, 2024) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – supporting pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County –  announced its endorsement of Tunua Thrash-Ntuk who is running for Long Beach City Council 8th District.

 

Tunua’s experience on the Long Beach Transit Board of Directors and decades working with Greenlining Institute on environmental justice issues shows her commitment to the environment and improving the quality of life in vulnerable communities. She is committed to expanding the Deforest Park Wetlands, improving access to green spaces in the 8th district, and improving air and water quality in North Long Beach.

 

“As an advocate for community empowerment and environmental protection, I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the LA League of Conservation Voters, an organization dedicated to environmental stewardship that shares my values,” said Tunua Thrash-Ntuk, Long Beach City Council 8th District Candidate. “My 25 years of experience in environmental policy has been a testament to my commitment to improve the health outcomes for North Long Beach’s environmental justice communities and creating healthy neighborhoods where every family can thrive.”
