Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses

Jason Gromski for Hawthorne City Council

(Los Angeles County) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – which has supported pro-environment local candidates throughout Los Angeles County for more than three decades – today announced its endorsement of Jason Gromski for election to the Hawthorne City Council in the November 6 election.

Jason has served Hawthorne on the Civil Service Commission, Chair of the Hawthorne Economic Development Council, and President of the Ramona Neighborhood Association. He is an aerospace engineer and brings with him a thorough knowledge of existing City plans along with a strategy to implement those existing plans.

“Jason Gromski is the type of leader that the City of Hawthorne needs. He cares deeply about the City and has a detailed plan to provide improved access to transportation and open space. His commitment to fight against climate change will benefit all residents of Hawthorne through better air quality and improved access to parks.” said LALCV President Stephanie Molen.

“I am honored to be endorsed by LALCV to be our next Hawthorne City Councilmember. I will work to make Hawthorne a National leader among cities — expanding to 100% renewable energy, and ensuring that all families can walk to a neighborhood park. I look forward to improving the lives of Hawthorne residents with smart environmental policies.” said Mr. Gromski.
