Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters Endorses Heather Repenning for Los Angeles Unified School District, School Board District 5
(Los Angeles County) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – which has supported pro-environment local candidates throughout Los Angeles County for more than three decades – today announced its endorsement of Heather Repenning in the upcoming Council election for Los Angeles Unified School District, School Board District 5.
“Heather Repenning has made environmental justice and fighting climate change cornerstones of her work in public service. She has highlighted these issues through her campaign for LAUSD School Board and has a strong vision of how LAUSD should innovate and implement sustainable environmental practices,” said Stephanie Molen, LALCV Board President.
“She has demonstrated the ability to bring people together to pass critical environmental policy, such as clean water investment through Measure W, and implement programs to reduce Los Angeles’ carbon footprint.
