Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses

John Harabedian for Los Angeles County Supervisor District 5

(Los Angeles County) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – which has supported pro-environment local candidates throughout Los Angeles County for more than four decades – today announced its endorsement of John Harabedian for Los Angeles County Supervisor District 5 in the upcoming March 3rd election.

“I am extremely proud to receive the endorsement of the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters.  LALCV is the most trusted name on issues of climate policy and environmental justice, and as a County Supervisor I will continue to be a champion on those issues,” said Harabedian.

Today, with the region suffering from air pollution and other impacts of proximity to goods movement, Harabedian will serve District 5 from Simi Valley to Antelope Valley to the San Gabriel Valley by promoting clean freight, increasing mobility, and encouraging alternative modes of transportation.

John Harabedian has been a strong environmental advocate in San Gabriel Valley during his 8-year tenure on the Sierra Madre City Council,” said LALCV President Michael Kadish. “As a Supervisor, he will continue to be a leader in the fight for open space, clean tech jobs, mass transit, and clean air.”
