LOS ANGELES COUNTY – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) — supporting pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County — announced its endorsement of Councilmember Bob Blumenfield representing Council District 3, Los Angeles City Council today.
Councilmember Blumenfild intends to continue greening our streets, building green space, and focusing on equitable and sustainable housing for our unhoused residents.
“Councilmember Bob Blumenfield is dedicated to improving the health and safety of his community, by preserving the environment and focussing on green space and parks, fighting for clean air, and reducing energy use. Throughout his career, he has worked to identify ways to address the effects of Climate Change,” said LALCV Past-President Stephanie Molen. “We are honored to provide this earned Pro-forma endorsement and believe that Councilmember Blumenfiled’s experience is needed to keep a focus on environmental, social, and economic issues in the City of Los Angeles. He is the best candidate to serve as a leader on these issues for the next four years.”
“It is particularly meaningful for me to be endorsed by LALCV both because I share their passion for the environment and because, as a long time former Boardmember, I know how much care goes into making their endorsements,” said Councilmember Blumenfield.
