Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses Debra Martin for Pomona City Council

Debra Martin, Pomona City CouncilLOS ANGELES COUNTY (October 13, 2020) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – supporting pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County – announced its endorsement of Debra Martin running for Pomona City Council.

As a City Councilperson, Debra Martin was instrumental in making progressive environmental impacts to the city of Pomona. She voted in the city’s most recent green initiative which replaced police and trash vehicles with electric vehicles, gave Pomona its first electric bus, and began efforts to clean up a commercial zone within the city. 

“She recognizes the challenges that the city faces including the continued improvement of air quality and the cessation of illegal dumping,” said Michael Kadish, president of LALCV.
