LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA — The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) — supporting pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County — announced its endorsement of Pasadena City Councilmember John Kennedy reelection campaign.
“Councilmember John Kennedy has shown a strong passion for sustainability, and environmental equity through his actions as an individual and while sitting on the City Council. His primary focus has been on water conservation, and he plans to fight hard to find a path forward to recycle biomaterials and reduce waste coming out of the City of Pasadena,” said Stephanie Molen, LALCV Campaign Chair.
“I am blessed and honored to receive the endorsement of the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters. This action validates the work I have been doing in Pasadena and particularly in District 3, fighting for environmental justice over the years. My advocacy is centered around clean and adequate water, zero waste, replacement of the Sunset Reservoirs, and creating a sustainable environment for ourselves and our posterity. LALCV is the preeminent organization at the forefront of the environmental justice movement, so it is with extraordinary pride and humility that I say thank you for their wonderful endorsement of my work in Pasadena,” said Pasadena Councilmember John Kennedy.
