Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses
Uduak-Joe Ntuk for Long Beach Community College District Board of Trustees, Area 1
(Los Angeles County) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – which supports pro-environment candidates and measures in Los Angeles County, and has for more than three decades – today announced its endorsement of Uduak-Joe Ntuk for Long Beach Community College District Board of Trustees, Area 1.
“We are proud to endorse Ntak for LBCC Board of Trustees. His background, current work and strong environmental platform all demonstrate his passion and commitment to environmental issues. We believe he will champion environmental issues on the LBCC board” said LALCV President Stephanie Molen.
Uduak-Joe has lived in this area for more than 25 years and has been very engaged. He is active in several neighborhood associations, the Bixby Strollers Walking Club, LBCC Beverly O’Neil Mentoring Program, LBCC Student Equity Grant Programs, and the St. Anthony High School STEAM Program. If elected, he pledges to hire a Chief Sustainability Officer to conduct an annual greenhouse gas inventory, lead on campus energy efficient efforts, and manage our clean energy projects.
