Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses Lizette Escobedo for Whittier City Council, District 4
(Los Angeles County) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – which has supported pro-environment candidates and measures in Los Angeles County, for more than three decades – today announced its endorsement of Lizette Escobedo for Whittier City Council District 4.
“We are proud to endorse Lizette Escobedo for Whittier City Council, District 4. Lizette is a thoughtful, genuine leader with experience addressing the impacts that a lack of access to parks, public transportation, and healthy air quality can have on children and adults in her community. As a mother who is always working to ensure that her daughter has a safe environment where she can thrive, Lizette feels a deep sense of commitment to working for a greater quality of life for the people of Whittier for generations to come”, said LALCV Board Member Yvette Lopez-Ledesma.
