LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV), which has supported pro-environment local candidates throughout Los Angeles County for more than four decades, announced its endorsement of Marco Santana, candidate for Los Angeles City Council District 6.

Marco’s career has demonstrated a strong commitment to working with and improving his community through his work at LA Family Housing, as a staffer for multiple elected officials representing the San Fernando Valley, and in leadership roles for the Democratic Party of the San Fernando Valley and the San Fernando Valley Young Democrats.

“Marco’s experience makes him, not only, well-equipped to handle the pressing issues of affordable housing and homelessness, but his campaign has demonstrated a clear vision to address environmental issues in the 6 th District. We look forward to seeing him implement his vision for a more sustainable Los Angeles,” said Adam Lane, LALCV
Board Member.

“I stand with the LALCV in its dedication and commitment to preserve, protect and enhance our environment. Fighting climate change needs to start at the local level, and by working together, we can ensure that the future of Los Angeles prioritizes our environment and ensures its sustainability,” said Santana.
