Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses Monica Rodriguez for City of Los Angeles Council District 7

(Los Angeles County) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – which has supported pro-environment local candidates throughout Los Angeles County for more than three decades – today announced its endorsement of former City of Los Angeles Board of Public Works Commissioner, Monica Rodriguez, for election to Los Angeles City Council District 7 in the upcoming March 7th election.

“Monica Rodriguez has dedicated herself to serving her community, and she’s established a record of being a responsive problem-solver,” said LALCV Director Yvette Lopez-Ledesma, who led the organization’s Endorsement Team in this race. “Her knowledge of green infrastructure, water conservation, and public safety will greatly benefit the entire 7th District.”

Rodriguez is a life-long resident of Council District 7. She has dedicated over 20 years of her career to serving the public, working as a senior policy advisor and community liaison for the Mayor of Los Angeles and two Los Angeles City Council Members, as well as serving as a Public Works Commissioner.
