LALCV Rescinds Endorsement of Josef Bray-Ali for LA Council District 1

In light of the recent revelation of shocking, indefensible online comments by Josef Bray-Ali, as reported by LAist and the LA Times, the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) today announced that it has rescinded its endorsement of him in the race for Los Angeles City Council District 1. 

“LALCV condemns, in the strongest possible terms, the cruel, bigoted and horrific remarks made by Mr. Bray-Ali,” said LALCV President Tom Eisenhauer. “Had we known of them previously, we would not have endorsed him in the first place. Now that we do, we have rescinded our endorsement.”
