LOS ANGELES COUNTY (January 18)– The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – supporting pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County – announced its endorsement of Stephanie Fossan representing La Cañada Flintridge City Council.
La Cañada Flintridge is a city in the foothills of the Verdugo Mountains in Los Angeles County. Located in the Crescenta Valley, on the western edge of the San Gabriel Valley, it is known for parks, hiking/equestrian trails, the historic Lanterman House, Descanso Gardens, and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
“Candidate Fossan has proven herself a dedicated community member through volunteerism and community involvement. She has a passion and ability for bringing people together and will use those skills to enhance the quality of life for La Cañada Flintridge residents,” said Stephanie Molen, LALCV Board Member. “She has helped to develop and promote the city Climate Action Plan and is inspired to lead the way to see the plan take shape and be enacted. We believe that Stephanie Fossan will be a strong leader on the council, working to reduce the city’s carbon footprint and the risk of wildfires.”
“I could not be more pleased and honored to receive the endorsement of the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters. I look forward to helping our city make meaningful progress on climate resilience with the important initiatives outlined in La Cañada’s Climate Action Plan,” said Stephanie Fossan.
