Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters Endorses Fred Docdocil for Carson City Council

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA  — The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) — which has supported pro-environment local candidates throughout Los Angeles County for more than four decades — is proud to announce its endorsement of Fred Docdocil for Carson City Council District 4.

Docdocil has served as a Planning Commissioner and has been a longtime advocate for demanding mitigation from oil refineries, trucking companies and other polluters in Carson. One of his highest priorities is to establish the Dominguez Channel Contamination Preventative Policies to protect the health of area residents.

“Fred understands the key environmental issues facing Carson,” said Mary Nemick, LALCV board member. “Carson continues to face challenges due to its proximity
to refineries and other polluters and Fred has the vision to lead and find solutions. We are pleased to be able to support him.”

“I am grateful for LALCV’s endorsement for my candidacy, said Docdocil. “LALCV’s work is critical in helping advocate for a sustainable future, which is important to me as a husband and a father to a growing family, and I intend to be a leader on environmental issues for Carson and the surrounding areas.
