Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters Endorses Kailee Caruso for Long Beach City Council

LOS ANGELES (October 19, 2022)– The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) — supporting pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County — announced its endorsement of Kailee Caruso, candidate for Long Beach City Council District 3.

“Kailee has spent her career working with some of the most vulnerable populations in society and has demonstrated a passion for environmental issues in her campaign. The Third District is uniquely vulnerable to sea level rise. We look forward to seeing her address the top issues facing
the City of Long Beach, including mitigating the causes and impacts of climate change,” said Joshua Torres, LALCV Boardmember.

“Like LALCV, I am dedicated to preserving, protecting, and enhancing the environment for today and future generations. The unprecedented environmental risks we face in Long Beach will require collaboration and intentionality. I am ready to build upon my relationships with Long
Beach elected leaders, residents and environmental experts to ensure efficient use of resources to mitigate climate impacts on the residents of Long Beach,” said Caruso.
