Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses Tim Sandoval for Mayor of Pomona

(Los Angeles County) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – which has supported pro-environment local candidates throughout Los Angeles County for more than three decades – today announced its endorsement of Tim Sandoval for Mayor of the City of Pomona in the upcoming November 8th election.

“Tim Sandoval has a proven record of commitment to environmental protection, community engagement and health and safety in Pomona,” said LALCV President Tom Eisenhauer. “The City is fortunate to have a candidate who puts public health and quality of life at the top of his priority list.”

Tim chairs the Waste and Recycling Moratorium Task Force, which the City Council authorized to develop more effective regulations and standards for these types of businesses. He has served as a board member of Clean and Green Pomona, a community group whose mission is to improve environmental conditions in and around industrial areas.
