LOS ANGELES COUNTY (January 18)– The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – supporting pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County –  announced its endorsement of Craig Corman representing Beverly Hills City Council.

Beverly Hills is a historic suburb of Los Angeles, located just southwest of the Hollywood Hills, and surrounded by the city of Los Angeles. In addition to being known primarily as an affluent location for shopping and mingling with the Hollywood elite, the city has made significant strides to derive water from its own water wells, and has retired a few oil wells.

“Craig Corman is a longtime resident of Beverly Hills whose passion and commitment are reflected in his civic engagement in the city. Mr. Corman will use his relationships with the city government, the community, and his litigation skills to address the city’s carbon footprint and increase its residents’ and neighbors’ quality of life. We are confident that Craig Corman will be a leader when addressing hard environmental topics, such as greening the city’s-energy infrastructure and addressing water conservation,” said Stephanie Molen, LALCV Board Member.

“I’m honored to be endorsed by the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV), which works tirelessly to protect and defend our environment. Environmental and sustainability issues are critical to the future of our planet, and as a Councilmember, I vow to make them a priority in Beverly Hills. Through my work on the Beverly Hills Planning Commission and Cultural Heritage Commission, I have a long track record of bringing people together to craft creative solutions to difficult problems, and it would be no different in dealing with the many environmental challenges we face. As my campaign for City Council gathers momentum, I am proud to have LALCV and its membership standing beside me,” said Craig Corman.
