Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses Dr. Jeremy Gerson for Torrance City Council District 6

LOS ANGELES COUNTY (January 24, 2024)– The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – supporting pro-environment candidates throughout Los Angeles County –  announced its endorsement of Dr. Jeremy Gerson for Torrance City Council District 6.

 

Dr. Jeremy Gerson is currently a member of the Torrance Unified School District Board of Education and plans to prioritize public transportation and clean energy infrastructure.

 

“As a teacher and school board member, Dr. Jeremy Gerson prioritizes the well-being of future generations, which is exactly what makes him the kind of pro-environment leader Torrance needs,” said Elsa Tung, LALCV Board Member. “We look forward to his growing leadership on environmental health and public transportation, especially regarding the Torrance Refinery and Metro extension to Torrance.”
