Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters endorses Jim Kennedy for the Water Replenishment District (WRD) of Southern California

(Los Angeles County) – The Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters (LALCV) – which has supported pro-environment local candidates and issues throughout Los Angeles County for more than three decades – today announced its endorsement of Jim Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy is running for election in the upcoming November 8 election in Division 2 of WRD.

 

“Jim Kennedy has a thorough understanding of the environmental issues facing the Water Replenishment District,” said Tom Eisenhauer, President of LALCV.

 

“Kennedy will implement proven technology to capture rain water and use recycled water to keep our water rates low and to reduce our dependency on imported water,” said Eisenhauer. “He will bring new management, oversight and accountability to secure our water future.”
